Some Mid-Challenge Inspiration

Good morning! Well 2012 is well under way by now... I hope it is going well for everybody! Our Barbara is still sick unfortunately, but we are sending her lots of healing thoughts!

Today I have some new DT members to introduce to you, and we would also like to show you some mid-challenge inspiration from the DT!

But before I get started with introductions, I would like to share an email entry into our current challenge (Something New) from another Barbara using the adorable Saffron:

I have five fabulous new DT members to introduce to you today!

First we have AJ from the blog Fist Full of Glitter
"Hi, I'm Aj, I live inthe Shetland islands in the UK where I work from home as a crafter and crafttutor. I have always had an interest in all things messy & inky as well astextile related crafts."

Next we have Frea from the blog Creafrea

"Hithere, my name it Frea, I live in the Netherlands and am a full time primaryschool teacher. In my spare time I relax by crafting and have done so from thetime I could hold a pencil. I started out scrapbooking, but then I saw a supercute stamp and that was it. Nowadays I rarely do any scrapbooking and loads ofcardmaking and other fun paper projects. Finding out there was a blogworld outthere was amazing and I enjoy seeing all those gorgeous inspirational creationsof my blogfriends. And now I am the proud new member of this design team, Ican’t wait to get started!! "

"I am a 21 year oldmind trapped inside a 51 year old body hehe. I am a single mum of 3 - 2 boysaged 19 and 15 and a little girl aged 6. I am currently not working but hope togo back to uni to do a degree in history with a view to become a teacher.
I have always been crafting from drawing, knitting, sewing, embroidery, crochetetc etc. I discovered card making in 2008 after being fed up with shop cardsand bought my first card making magazine. And I have never looked back. Likemost crafters I horde stash and have tons I might never use lol. After a lot oftrial and error I finally found my "own" style which is more CAS thanbrass. My favorite embellishments are buttons and ribbons and I love workingwith kraft."

I started card making just over threeyears ago after seeing a hand made card on the internet, thought I would giveit a go and I've been hooked ever since! I love stamping and am working onperfecting my colouring with Promarkers. I've a long way to go but all you talentedladies keep me inspired, visiting all your wonderful blogs is what keeps megoing!"

And finally Vicky from the blog Sticky with Icky

"Hi I'm Vicky
I live in Northumberland in theUk. I am 39 & have been married to my lovely husband Craig since I was 16.I have 3 children, altho 2 of them are now adults, my eldest son 21, mydaughter 19 & my youngest 15 & I have also beginning of 2012became a new grandma which I absolutely love!!!
I started crafting about 20 monthsago to try & stop me from re-decorating all the time as it cost a fortune& hubby thought it would be cheaper me getting a hobby lol........how wronghe was lol. I knew absolutely nothing about stamping, colouring oranything else but I am now hooked totally & I have way too much stash. Myfavourite part of it is the colouring, I can sit for hours colouring in images.I am learning things all the time from all the wonderful crafters in Blogland& cant believe it took me this long to find this hobby.
